It showed up on Thursday of last week and I spent most of my weekend playing around with and testing it. Will this replace a hardware follow focus? Probably not, but it does have some very handy features and paired with the right lens this could still make a very useful follow focus about 60% of the time. The unit also has a number of camera control options not found in any other controller on the market (unless you use your computer). The build quality is great, the battery life is great, and setup is simple enough.
